Kinrin Uji Matcha by Marukyu Koyamaen

Kinrin Matcha from the Marukyu Koyamaen Company is soft and creamy with lush green grass flavors and low bitterness.   It's a smooth, easy to drink matcha, suitable for both thick (koicha) and thin (usucha) service.  

Kinrin is the entry level matcha in Marukyu Koyamaen's principal koicha matcha lineup -- a company with a 300 year history making Uji matcha. Marukyu Koyamaen has won the first prize in Japan's National Tea Competition 22 times.  Their teas are highly regarded, used in many tea schools, shrines, and temples throughout Japan.
